They needed a space that was not only functional for a growing family but also elegant and calming. With expert guidance, their once-cramped bathroom was transformed into a bright and timeless retreat, complete with ample storage and even a touch of luxury. Danielle and Damien have been proud residents of their Kensington home for the past 10 years, and they have long dreamt of updating their space to reflect their busy lifestyle with a young son and add some luxury into their home.
As a young family with a child, they realised their current bathroom would not suit their future needs and they wanted a modern and stylish room that would harmonise with the rest of their home. However, they didn’t know how to achieve the best design, optimise their limited floor space, or simply where to begin. In search of a reputable builder, Danielle and Damien turned to the HIA website, where they discovered us, ZJ Building.
Through our preliminary design process we learned that their ultimate aspiration was to create a bathroom that would withstand the test of time, boasting both timeless aesthetics and functional features. With a desire for a minimalistic look that exuded elegance and tranquillity, they entrusted us to help bring their vision to life.
We engaged the team at TK Design to take care of the design, finishes and selections and we were tasked with logistics of the renovation and delivering the quality they were looking for.
Storage was a key concern for Danielle and Damien, given their bustling family life and need to keep the bathroom organised and clutter-free. By integrating clever storage solutions into the design, maximising every inch of available space. They now have an abundance of storage options that blend seamlessly with the overall design.
In addition to the practical aspects, Danielle and Damien expressed their desire to have a television in the bathroom, creating a space where they could relax and enjoy their favourite shows or movies while unwinding in the bath or preparing for the day ahead.
